For those who have not visited, there is a collection of Brewery’s, Distilleries and Wineries in Alameda. This will be a nice opportunity to hang out with members and friends of the INBA.

The Plan:

11.30am – Meet at the Ferry Building in San Francisco the ferry to Alameda– We will have an Irish flag so you can recognize us. The Ferry will Depart at 11.45am.

Meet at Ferry Building and head to the Alameda terminal. You can buy tickets here or bring your Clipper card, it’ll be $14.40 round trip and takes about 30min one way: https://sanfranciscobayferry.com/route/sffb/alameda

12.05pm Arrive in Alameda ferry terminal and head to Faction Brewing (2501 Monarch Street, Alameda, CA) – its a 1-mile walk, takes about 20 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes. Wear Sunscreen, stay hydrated and plan to grab yourself something from the food truck.

2.30pm Walk over to Almanac Brewery (651 W Tower Ave, Alameda, CA 94501) From here the itinerary is loose – stay on for some more stops or when you’re ready to head home, walk a mile back to the ferry and you’re all set! (The ferry runs roughly hourly until the early evening, then every couple of hours until 9:10pm)
